My love is on holiday
Far into the pages of a history I have never seen
Where there are trees of pink and vermillion
And beautiful things
Scraping the bottom of Heaven
Only if I had the patience of angels
Or could sleep for once without interruption
Clockwork hammer blows might
Tap by like lava flows
But I know I'm in for an ice age.
I wish I could sleep away the month she will be gone. Clock ticks rings like hammer blows and in a perfect world could flow like molten rock, but I know my interregnum shall be akin to a glacier, awaiting her return.
