Mary Todd.
When morning dawns for the last time
I will rise without shining
I will neglect to take my pills
The others will have run out
And I will go insane
I will not get desperate
Just the same
I will drive myself to get a coffee
Shaven, showered, and well dressed
Maybe my eye will find a
Cloud on which to dwell
And observe it roll past
But the time for serious contemplation will be over
Just a quick jot home, then a slip beneath the covers.
