First, thanks to a certain person who subscribed officially to my blog even though she didn't need to. The gesture is what counts. Another person never did it.
Now to serious things. I don't know exactly why the powers that be in the media block certain supposedly-free internet broadcasts from being shown in other countries. It's stupid right-wing fanaticism with votes or money to gain, obviously.
But if you can get them, and care about politics and real issues, please check out the following sites.
http://www.youtube.com/cspan -or- http://www.c-span.org ...the closest we get to free press in this stupid overmarketed, oversexed, over-businessed county I live in.
http://fora.tv ...Just begun checking this one out, but it seems outspoken and truthful.
http://www.politicalbase.com/profile/Stephanie%20Condon/blog/&blogId=2040 ...18 suicides per day just amongst American veterans. Who needs to drill into your freaking heads that WAR is the most horrible thing in the world?
http://tinyurl.com/c9umfn ...my favorite director, admittedly in fragmented form on some YouTube url, probably just as he would want it. I want his hair when I get older. GĂ©nie.
C'est tout pour aujourd'hui. Je vous souhaite paix et d'amour, et des yeux pour voir.
It makes you wonder exactly what those veterans were expected to do out there. And that´s also worrying along with the lack of mental health care. Does the country not give a damn about what its soldiers have been through? It seems they´re treated as simply more collateral damage.
ReplyDeleteAnd cool. I can really see you with Lynch hair. I liked the clip, though it wouldn´t let me access the extra information to tell me who supplied that fantastic music that went with it.
More on the other videos later...
