Hmm... I know about 11 of those from the names. I'll bet I'd recognize more if I heard them. Good research.
Interesting...1950 was still a transition time between the post WW2 years (The Andrew Sisters, Perry Como), and just before the beginning of proper rock, like Chuck Berry and Fats Domino - what my generation typically thinks of a "50s" music.
I guess that wasn't until the later 50s (oh, and Elvis), and parents probably hated it!
