this is something i haven't heard about - not sure why. so it's basically communicating ideas in groups. I'm not sure I get the whole picture, but I'm guessing that we are doing this anyway with the internet and this is an organized way to spread ideas around the world?
If you're talking about the TED conference, it's something that's actually been going on for years. They always invite the most imminent scientist of every field, as well as businessmen, economists, you name it. It's really cool, and they have a pretty extensive archive of the short talks by all the men and women over the years. Check it out here:
