There's a big furry spider and an equally big furry bumblebee at my living room window, in the area between the window and where the drapes hang.
Rather than do the usual brutish human thing, I think I will let them fight it out for themselves. The winner gets to go outside, unharmed.

I say help the spider win and then keep him as a pet and feed him hapless flies that make their way into your home. I usually have one in my kitchen window that I "feed". They're fun to watch!
That's actually kinda twisted :O
I'd help the bee. I think they're cute and love watching them as they go about their business outside.
And yeah, I agree with Meta, that is kind of twisted. Though given the number if flies I get in my house in warm weather, possibly a good idea.
I didn't help either of them and they ended up becoming good friends.
I'm a brutal human and would have crushed both of them. not very Buddhist of me, but I can't stand bugs in my house :o\
That was my mom freaking out again. I would probably play with them, but I've never seen a big spider or a bee. Do they like to play?
They play soccer all day long.
Oh my Oh my! Interesting what gets lots of hits!
Isn't it? I'll write some big epic theory of something and no one will read it (or at least, not comment), but as soon as I mention food or animals, the comments come flying in. :)
