stupendous!
OK I'm done now. :)

Shucks.

This car would make people's eyes pop out in the backcountry of Virginia, eh Ms Gabhar?

Hell, it would probably do so here, where there are luxury cars and sports cars all over the place!

James Bond had immaculate taste as always when he chose to start driving Aston Martins in all his movies.

Looks like there might juuust be enough room in there to squeeze myself and possibly Jackson into the cockpit.

700HP...full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, titanium engine block, 6-gear manual transmission. I could probably leave earth's gravity in it if I pulled a Thelma & Louise at 225 MPH!

It is quite likely that it would turn a few heads. I've always thought that Mr. Bond had excellent taste in cars :)
Though nice to look at I can certainly say it's not a very PRACTICAL car. But then again, we're not being practical here are we?

Not at all. Unless you're about the size of that space chimp they sent up in the 60s and have around $1.7 million lying around, I'd say go for something more down to earth, like a Porsche 911 Carerra :D

Or if you HAVE to have a truck to get around where you live, put a concert-hall quality stereo system in it with a hard disk to hold your entire music collection, and you'll never mind driving again. Components: Alpine; Amps: Alpine; Subwoofers: Infinity; Four sets of separates (mids and tweets) with built in crossovers: MB Quart (Made in Germany); soundproofing the cabin: Dynamat; cabling: StreetWires. You can have a dock for an iPod too and a remote, along with an EQ and real analog knobs for all the frequencies; Alpine or other high-end companies make all that stuff.

I wouldn't recommend the flip-up videoscreen though as you'll want to be driving, not watching the Blu-ray version of Gladiator...

Senuous?

Am I the only one on the planet who doesn't like? *hides*

No, my friend Mandi in Budapest hates tiny, awesome sports cars and would like to have a Hummer or some other ostentatious and large SUV to cruise around in. I cannot really compute this in my male brain, but I know it's true since she's told me.

In fact, by seriously subjective estimates, I would guess that about 3/4 of the guys I know like exotic, amazing cars like this while perhaps 1/4 (tops) of the females I know do, and even then questions as to its practicality, price tag, safety, and so forth tend to arise.

Silly women!

Why don't they realize they're wrong and just admit it?

I think Hans left an S out, but he is still young and hasn't taken spelling in school yet. Just weight... er wait.

Metamatician said...

Hehe, that's ok Hans. Keep up on your homework though! :)

Well, somebody has to be practical... ;) Actually if money was no option I'd have a garage with several fabulous sports cars.. and a Porsche Panamera for the family car. :)

Metamatician said...

Oooh, VERY nice choice for the sedan. You surprised me!

The only 4-door "family" car that could probably rip someone's wig off if you floored it. Nice.

Looks awesome, too.

Oops, still learning how to spell "Sinuous"
