The first video was perfection!!
The 2nd song is great, but it was hard for me to watch it all, having reminders of a few difficult trips I was on.

All in all, Gordie's ballads are very Fine indeed!!

Some of the most haunting lyrics put into a song though I think...

When supper time came the old cook came on deck
Saying fellas it's too rough to feed ya
At 7PM a main hatchway caved in
He said fellas it's been good to know ya.

and...

Does anyone know where the love of God goes
When the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Song sens chills down my spine every time, because it's all a true story and was written shortly after the Fitz sank. Chilling, but an epic ballad for sure.

Gordon has said he keeps in touch with the families of most of the survivors, even to this day.
