Hmm.
Must I learn the "right things" to do in life by systematically exhausting all the "wrong things"? I'm a lousy guesser I guess. If experience is a great teacher, it is also one with a sick sense of humor.

That's what everybody else does, why not you?

Is it?

Maybe you're right. Seems like life comes easier to some people. Like those people who know they want to be a neurosurgeon or a pianist from the time they are 6, and then go on and do it.

I've had a hard time at every transition phase in my life, but I suppose it's made me a tougher, more reflective, and more resilient person in return.

There are very few of those people who decide early and go on to DO it, whatever it is. Starting late is OK!

Don't be ashamed of your past. Let it go. Live for now! Find something you really want to do, anything, and do it. A little bit at a time.

And if the first one doesn't fit, find another.
