Suggestions.
Any suggestions while we're at it for the blog should go? It will remain a mix, but what types of entries do you each enjoy most? Jokes, funny pictures, polls, quizzes, opinion pieces, poems, poem explanations, photos and paintings from around the web, photos and painting of my own, favorite lyrics, movie/book/game reviews, start-a-discussion questions (to hopefully go round in the comments section for awhile and get everyone involved), nude women, interesting links summarized beforehand, explanatory pieces where I break down something about computers or science or sports or a famous person or whatever else I may know something interesting about, and teach you about it in a hopefully short-and-sweet manner, YouTubes or streaming music, random no-right-answer questions for you to ponder and answer, screens filled with the F word, eccentric pontifications á la most of what comes out of Rex's Bristolian mouth, tales of the strange and supernatural, bears, breakfast cereals, orangutans, churches, fruit bats, very small rocks? If you've got any ideas (or several) or just want to weigh in on types of entries you prefer versus the ones you don't care for, please do so! I want to involve as many people as possible in this, it's yours as much as mine.

Variety is good of course. Fun quizzes, polls, poems, art, links, music. Not long explanations. Not churches or bats in the belfry. Nostalgia would be interesting - like what our favorite toy was, our fav cartoon, etc. Don't care for opinionated stuff, myself, but some people do. We can participate in some and not in others. See where you're getting the most comments from.

Good ideas, thanks. The nostaligia bit is a good one, I'll tuck that away for a rainy day. So long explanations get a no from you. That is good to know as they aren't easy to write!

Funny pictures, jokes ( not too foul ), quizzes, short discussions of current events. Agree, limit opinions to 64 words.

Hey, whatever you like mate. Although I would have a personal preference for poetry, photography, quizzes (good ones)most of the mental stuff that comes out of your head no matter what mood you're in, because it's real. And anything bizarre, fun and/or useful. I also highly recommend that you go visit other blogs from time to time because it's great for ideas and it's a good way to increase your blog readership.

Good ideas about visiting other blogs, Sara, and also what I'm hearing from the peanut gallery is that it doesn't matter what I right, as long as it is short!

I'll put that lecture series on Western Philosophy away for now, then...

I'll just keep doing my thing then and people will vote with their involvement and number of comments. I'll try to get some other readers over here too. Anyone is welcome to pass the URL out to someone they think might be cool.. er, interested in the site.

*Uh, that would be 'write', not 'right'. Maybe it's best I do keep the entries short.

As the actress said to the bishop, "There's nothing wrong with a short entry, your holyness."
"And there's not much wrong with your holiness" he replied, cornily.
That was a hint. I think you should write in the style of "Carry On" films for one week as a literary exercise.
Don't worry about the content.
How are you getting on with Withnail?
To answer your question fairly, there's enough variety and wit and content for most discerning folk to pick out what they want and spit out the bones, so to speak.
Just be yourself, dude.
