UNTITLED
Is it too late to be a doctor
A photographer
Or an author?
Why should anyone even bother
To be a scientist
Or a philosopher?
Because there are people in the world
With fears exactly like mine
Who need the same answers I do
Drowning people don't all drown at once
In a boat that's always rising and sinking
We need to man the buckets together
And make the time we were handed better
Fashion a bit of hope or at least comfort each other
On the way down
Is it too late to be a doctor

Beautiful and worthy thoughts. It is never too late unless one lets it be.
Take it from byte, the oldest living Computer Science degree holder, after like 24 years of school already! I agree with the doc, it just takes wanting it bad enough. As for the wise poem, very good, true, and I like how it starts simply and gets longer and more complicated. Just like life.
As one in the process of yet again reinventing myself, I can only say, lets all hold hands and reach for the moon.
Reinvention is the father of necessity.
But I don't want to play anymore.
And I don't believe in magic anymore.
