You paid attention during 100% of high school!
85-100% You must be an autodidact, because American high schools don't get scores that high! Good show, old chap!
Do you deserve your high school diploma?

I got 86% on this one which is a downright lie, because I know I actually paid attention for less than 30%.
Interesting, though, because in the UK there's no such thing as a high school diploma.
Nor should there be. They should just give you a small tattoo that says, "congratulations, you're not a complete cretin."
I suppose they give out diplomas for this extended, glorifying color session that is high school so that little Jimmy the Liquid Paper sniffer can feel smart for one day in his life and hopefully postpone that violent rampage he had planned.
Maybe even decide to turn his life around and read some Kant or Hume.
Or not. Have you read 'We Need to Talk About Kevin'? One of the best books I've ever read and merits discussion on the whole nature/nurture debate. If you haven't read it I highly recommend it
I've NOT read it and as always, I'd love to read anything of quality that makes me see things in a slightly different way. I try to keep my mind open; It gets harder every year but I don't buy into this "getting set in your ways" nonsense. Some of the most intelligent people in society are in their 70s or 80s, sharp as a tack, and still open-minded and innovative. People get set in their ways because it's comfortable and it's easier to be lazy than to constantly question your assumptions and beliefs.
That is so true. I like to think that I'm constantly evolving. People talk about change as if it's a negative personality trait, when really I believe the ability to change our minds and perspectives on different issues and beliefs is essential to our human growth. Otherwise we remain dull, static blobs taking up space in our colourless, self created landscapes.
Kinda like old politicians, really.
And for what it's worth, I hardly paid attention at all in high school.
