Animal Wars initial bracket.

This ought to help you visualize what I've been trying to explain.
Please click the picture to make it full-size.

Also, now is the time to voice any questions, suggestions, or concerns about the way the matchups have been seeded. The first round will begin in a couple days, but I will read and take into consideration any feedback I get between now and then.

If you wish to print this bracket and fill it out with your predictions, that's up to you!

Sharing your predictions is entirely voluntary as well.

THIS is EXACTLY what helps me visualize......questions are:
Are we going to vote and if so I suspect we should research each animal so that our vote is an educated one to a point...

Or are you going to tell us about the animals or what?

Nah, not enough readers for a voting system. You don't need to do anything but sit back and relax and enjoy. I'll do the researching, and each time I present a battle I'll tell you a little about the animals that are fighting (that's the educational part). Then I'll describe how a hypothetical battle might go, and who would likely win. That animal will move in to the next round of the tournament, and so on.

The only audience participation occurs if you want to either privately or publicly predict the winner, either of each upcoming round, or of the whole tournament, or whatever. I'm purposely not requiring anything structured because I just want people to be comfortable and interested in learning about some animals and maybe even root for their favorite or root against the ones they don't like. I'll handle all the behind-the-scenes stuff and the actual mechanics and presentation of it all.

OK, I hope others will join in, but whatever....I printed and will do my picking before you begin the battle. I'll share my choices after each tournament. Just to let everyone know, I'm a lousy guesser, so I will probably have to use my thinking cap! I'm sure this is all figured out ahead of time and researched, but is also subjective.......so here goes.

Cool, it will be fun to see what you picked vs what I pick. (Starts getting *REAL* animals loaded into their cages in secret underground lab...)
