no energy

i've simply no energy these days
to do the things i ought to do
and nothing sounds fun anymore, just boring

like a deflated balloon dropping straight down
instead of whizzing and zooming about
when the air is let out

so i lay in bed and pray for the day to pass
then i switch sides and do the same for the night
but the sun and moon are too bright
