I love them all. The last one is dreamy, the first one is like a young treebeard, the middle on reminds me of an powerful elf, perhaps too powerful and will become lord of wood elves. i love fantasy, elves, fairies, and such. If only such magic existed (still).

Heh, no worries. The bottom painting is another by the wonderful Ted Nasmith. The others are done by "amateurs" but are still moving. Yavanna is the Goddess of living things, the one who rose the forests and the beasts from the soil and "awoke" the Ents. As a vala, she is two magnitudes higher than any elf, but her spirit lives in the elves through their respect and reverence of natural things.

Oormila! Life is so strange, my mom and I were just talking about you yesterday, and then in the night you post. I must have reached you psychically.

I've not made an effort to keep in contact either, so no need for any apologies. Just glad to hear from you again! I will check your blog out promptly to see how you are doing. Well, I hope?
