Amateur art that is better than mine - Part I
But I've lost the credits. If one of these is yours and you want it removed, let me know.

Hi, I stumbled onto your blog sometime back and have been a lurker ever since. I like reading your posts, and I absolutely love a lot of the pics that you put up there? Where do you get them?

Hi, thanks for lurking! =)

Some of the photos are mine, but the rest (the GOOD ones) are from all over the place. I spend way too much time on DeviantArt, Google Images, specific galleries of Tolkien and fantasy art, places like Flickr looking through people's photo albums, you name it. Also some of the specific things like infrared photography I'll just do a search on, and browse sites till I find people with amazing collections. I try to credit people where I can, but it's a problem with many people themselves do not leave their name or have taken the photo from another place, and I've gotten it thirdhand.

But for starters, try
http://www.deviantart.com
and see what you find there. A lot of really good artists of all kinds seem to congregate there. Good luck and thanks again for reading my blog! Keep coming back and feel welcome to post any time.

These are all interesting in their own ways, but the first one is mesmerizing......I could get lost in it.

I agree. I would like to know the exact technique he/she used there. Obviously long exposure with some sort of rapidly moving light source, but there are no signs of anyone else. Maybe a light on a string? Who knows, but it's a great photo. As are the rest.
