Yeah, wish I didn't have a brain except a functional one the size of a pea that helped me eat and fly around and poop. Then again, what do we really know of animals' internal lives? Science is great, but scientists seem pretty big headed when they start making statement about their data, rather than just presenting the data itself. Analysis is where human-centric bias comes in. Who's to say that bird wasn't cold and miserable?
