Seems logical, as most are hyprocrits anyway.
I think the point is people just act on their true natures unless they are swayed/brainwashed/converted into feeling differently. Those people at Jonestown would never have killed themselves and their children if it wasn't for religion, which is blind faith in something without facts. And most people are hypocrites, yeah.
